At Gingerbread House, we provide preschool programs for 3 and 4 year old children. We are very fortunate to have two qualified teachers as well as two duty parents in the classroom with children at all times, providing a high adult-to-child ratio to create an optimal learning environment. Our calm, supportive atmosphere helps children move gradually from home to the school experience.

Daily Program The daily program in each class is designed to meet the developing and maturing needs of the children as they progress from solitary play to an awareness of other children and to a desire to cooperate with them in play.
Each day includes free play, art activities, songs, stories, snack, and outside play. Indoor play centres include dramatic play, tactile activities (water table, rice table, play dough table), puzzles and games, art, blocks and trains, science table, and a reading corner. A variety of materials are provided which allow the children to grow, to learn, and to develop to their full potential. Music, drama, cooking, and science activities are incorporated into the program.
